#ZizouWarriors : Defying Limits, Creating Moments

We lost a match that we will never probably lose again. We won a match that we will never probably win again. That’s sport for you. It is the ultimate teacher— it challenges, humbles, and inspires. The 8th Season of the Jain International Trade Organisation JPL cricket tournament may not have ended the way we hoped, but the journey was nothing short of extraordinary.
🏏 Defying Limits, Creating Moments
We created history by achieving the highest run chase in JPL history — a target of 220 that seemed completely out of reach until our skipper’s 169 off 38 balls changed the game. 22 sixes. 8 fours. A knock that proved that no score is too big, no dream too far. And guess what we didn’t achieve the target in our full quota of 10 overs — we cantered to it with 7 balls to spare.
And this was after the heartbreak of the previous day. We needed to defend 14 runs in 2 balls — it was a foregone conclusion. There was no way we could lose. And yet we did. A beamer smashed for six, followed by another six and a four. A finish that reminded us that no job is done until its actually done.
🎭 The Lows That Shape Us
We came close, but close isn’t enough. The scoreboard didn’t always favor us, but the lessons will. True champions aren’t those who never lose —they’re the ones who rise from every fall.
🚀 Lessons We Take Forward
✔ Every setback is a setup for a comeback – The hunger to win comes from knowing what loss feels like.
✔ One performance doesn’t define a team – It’s about the fight, the consistency, and the heart we bring every day.
✔ Leadership isn’t about winning—it’s about standing tall in defeat – We lift each other up, no matter the result.
🔥 The Fire Still Burns
We didn’t lift the trophy, but we walk away with something far more powerful—the hunger to return stronger, play harder, and prove that the best is yet to come.
To my Zizou Warriors family—this is not the end. The game goes on, and so do we. 💙🔥
Let’s carry this fire forward!
